Postgraduate students are a vital component of the BAAS community, and we want to ensure they feel welcome and included at the conference. With that in mind, we plan to host the following workshops, sessions, and networking opportunities designed specifically for postgraduates: 

• PG lunch - get to know other postgraduate students!
• Viva workshop - get valuable insights and reassurance about the final examination from examiners and recent candidates.
• Dissertation to manuscript workshop - find out more about the process of adapting your PhD for publication.
• Online research showcase/flash papers 

The conference is also a great opportunity for postgraduate delegates to hear more about the successes and legacy of “Visibility/Invisibility: Representation & Community Formation in American Studies”, the 2021 digital symposium, and about the role of Postgraduate Representative.
